Survival International
Survival International is a human rights organization formed in 1969 that campaigns for the rights of indigenous tribal peoples and uncontacted peoples. The organisation's campaigns generally focus on tribal peoples' desires to keep their ancestral lands. Survival International calls these peoples "some of the most vulnerable on earth", and aims to eradicate what it calls "misconceptions" used to justify violations of human rights. It also aims to publicize the perceived risks that tribes face from the actions of corporations and governments. Survival International is guided by the principle that tribal ways of living are not deficient, but in fact are desirable and should be maintained.Survival International is in association with the Department of Public Information (DPI) at the United Nations and in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). To ensure freedom of action, Survival accepts no government funding. It is a founding member and a signatory organization of the International NGO Accountability Charter (INGO Accountability Charter). Survival has offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris and San Francisco.
Umberto Veronesi Foundation
The Umberto Veronesi Foundation was established in 2003 to support scientific research, by providing research grants to physicians and researchers and supporting projects of the highest profile. Promoters are scientists (including 11 Nobel laureates well that make up the honorary committee) whose work is internationally recognized. At the same time, the Foundation is also active in the field of popular science, so that the results and discoveries of science become the heritage of all, through large conferences with international speakers, projects for schools, awareness campaigns and publications. An ambitious project that, to achieve its objective, acts in synergy with the world of school, with the realities - both public and private - in research and the world of information.
American Foundation for Children with HIV
The American Foundation for Children with AIDS (AFCA) is a non-profit organization providing critical support to infected and affected HIV+ children and their caregivers. Since 2005, in collaboration with our in-country partners, we have served tens of thousands of families in underserved and marginalized communities in Africa. Our areas of impact include: medical support, livelihoods, nutrition, educational support and emergency relief. Currently, AFCA is transforming lives in Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Veterinarians International
At Vets International, it is our mission to enhance the health of humans, animals, and the environment through the use of sound veterinary care and expertise. To accomplish this, we partner with like-minded groups around the world who are working to ensure the animals in their communities are receiving the veterinary care they so desperately need. We participate in community meetings, deliver vaccines, and provide training programs in animal health, food production, nutrition, husbandry, and disease control, so the men and women on the ground can improve the conditions within their communities—even when we are not present. This is a sustainable and repeatable solution that will not only improve the individual communities in which we work, but also the world. This ecohealth approach takes into consideration our interdependence upon each another and the planet. At Vets International, we believe that we all must work together to achieve mutual well-being. In fact, the CDC estimates that about 75% of recently emerging diseases and more than 60% of all human diseases originate in animals. Thus, improving animal health will dramatically improve human health.
